Take a Pulse
Pulse rate is nothing but the alternate contraction and expansion of the heart produces a throbbing in the arteries which is called pulse rate.
Normally pulse rate is your resting pulse rate when you are at rest. This pulse rate get increase when you involved in some physical exercise or mental excitement.
Your physical exercise and exertion Should not be so strenuous as to increase your pulse rate beyond the danger zone.
It has been observed the person who are strong and sturdy, can undertake greater physical exertion without crossing their maximum allowable pulse rate then the weak person, whose pulse rate increases rapidly.
Normal pulse rate:-
- A new born baby = 140-130 per min.
- During 1st year = 130-115 per min.
- During 2nd year =115-100 per min.
- During 3rd year =100-95 per min.
- 8th to 14th year = 84(average) per min.
- Adult age = 72(average) per min.
- Old age =76(average) per min.
This is the normal pulse rate you may have.
