Aerobic Area
If you are training in 80-90 % of his cardiac frequency, then you have been entering in another zone. In this zone, the intensity of the exercise is high, more calories are burnt. 85 % of the burnt calories is originating from carbohydrates, 15 % of fat and less of 1 healthy % proteins.
For purposes anti-aging, you are not recommended what to enter in this zone for a prolonged period of time. An explosion of exercise inside this zone only to stimulate heart and to challenge heart to pay attention to the averse conditions of intermittent form is acceptable, however.

At this level, 85 % of his burnt calories is fat, 5 % is a proteins and 10 % is carbohydrates. If you are training in 70-80 % of his very cardiac frequency, you are increasing his capacity of resistance. In this zone, his functional capacity is going to improve very much and you can wait to increase the number and size of the blood vessels, as well as increase of the capacity aerobic and respiratory frequency.
