In the process of strict diet, the body slows down metabolism to try to save energy, or in other words, to maintain homeostasis. When this happens, muscles burned as energy and dietary situation becomes worse. Since muscle is the most metabolically active tissues of the body, loss increases the difficulty of losing fat.
The body began to realize that actually starving and start storing every possible ounce of fat, rather than burn it. Thus, the method of restricting calories throughout the self-destructive. It keeps on increasing the regular exercise and on eating more intelligent, reducing portions, and on limiting the fat and ingestion of sugar is going to help so much in the loss of weight and to maintain it.
