Symptoms of syphilis
In the last session we had discussed what is syphilis and its causes, moving one step ahead now we are going to discuss what are its symptoms.
Symptoms:-
The symptoms are classified according to the progress of each stage. As syphilis is classified in four stages:-
Primary syphilis:- this is the first stage of syphilis. Which is simply classified by a single sore, which is called as chancre. Or in multiple cases you may found multiple sores . the sore appears as a small round reddish bump, which is painless, and occurs at the point where the infection entered the body. The chancre generally appear on the genital, anal or rectal parts of the body, though sores can also show up as a mouth sore or on the lips.
There is a time lag according to which the infection is transmitted in this stage, such as the average one is 21 days. Or sometimes it may take 10 to 90 days to show up the first sores.
Secondary syphilis:- if you had not cure it in the primary stage, then it progresses to the next stage which is classified with the appearance of syphilis rash.
Which manifests in the form of skin rashes or lesions that appear on the skin - typically they show up as a syphilis rash on palms, or a syphilis rash on feet but do not cause any discomfort since they are neither painful, nor itchy.
As the condition progresses these lesions may also begin appearing as a syphilis rash on chest, though susceptible areas are the folds of the skin in the groin, in the armpits, or in women, under the breasts.
Syphilis rash can also found on face can also appear; these rashes are sometimes so faint, that diagnosing syphilis on the basis of these rashes alone, is difficult; however, secondary syphilis is accompanied by some additional symptoms, which help in the identification of the condition.
This are the symptoms of syphilis in the primary and secondary stages.

Re: Symptoms of syphilis
Syphilis, which is caused by the bacteria Treponema pallidum, typically first appears as a sore on the area where there has been sexual contact with the infected person. If the infection goes untreated, it can progress to affect the entire body. That's why it's important to talk to your doctor if you think that you may have syphilis or if you have engaged in any behavior that would put you at risk for developing the disease.
Syphilis typically has three stages - primary, secondary, and late (tertiary). There are different symptoms at each stage of the infection.
Primary :There is a small sore which is painless in genital, where sexually transmitted disesase take place.and enlarge lymph node in groin and may disappear without treatment but relapse and causes secondary infection.
Secondary
enny sized sore in any part of your body which is rash marked, fever, soreness and pain in bones or joint.it may disappear but reappear after a year or so.
Tertiary:Cardiovascular problems :inflammation of the aorta and other blood vesels. and Neurologic problems
oor muscle coordination,paralysis
The signs and symptoms of syphilis are myriad; before the advent of serological testing, diagnosis was more difficult and the disease was dubbed the "Great Imitator" because it was so often confused with other diseases.
