The physical therapy (also physiotherapy) is a sanitary profession that evaluates and provides treatment to the people to develop, to maintain and to restore the movement and the Maxima function during all the life. This includes the provision of treatment in circumstances in that they are threatened by the movement and the environmental function of aging, injury, diseases or factors.
The Physical therapy takes care to identify and to maximize the quality of life and the potential movement within the spheres of the promotion, prevention, treatment or intervention, rating and rehabilitation. This physical, psychological, emotional sandal and the social welfare. One is the interaction between the physical therapist (PT), the patients/clients, other professionals of the health, the families, the caretakers and the communities in a process where it evaluates the potential of movement and the goals have decided, using the knowledge and unique abilities for physics therapists. Physical the therapy is made by a physical therapist (PT) or an assistant (PTA), acting under its direction.
PT to use the history of an individual and a physical examination to arrive at a diagnosis and to establish a management plan and, when it is necessary, to incorporate the results of laboratory and studies of image. the tests of Electrodiagnostic (for example, electromyogramas and the nerve of speed velocity of conduction) also can be of aid.

Physical therapy, also referred to as physiotherapy, is a scientific health care system that heals through movement. The goal of physiotherapy is to identify, correct and alleviate prolonged or acute movement dysfunction and restore the natural movements of the body.
Physical therapy is the art and science of physical care and rehabilitation. It is a primary care health profession, with physical therapists (or physiotherapists) providing services to individuals and populations to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout the life.
Physiotherapy involves the interaction between physical therapist, patients/clients, other health professionals, families, care givers, and communities in a process where movement potential is assessed and goals are agreed upon, using knowledge and skills unique to physical therapists. The treatment process includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, treatment and evaluation of the progress of the patient.
